Day 258 - Tyne tunnel
Today we went through the pedestrian Tyne Tunnel. It was a little scary but very exciting. This is escalator goes down 85ft, and that is longer than any other escalator in the country. They are also the first escalators designed to take bicycles, that was lucky, as Alistair had his bicycle and the lift was not working.
