Tyneside welcomes the QE2

We went to Tynemouth this Sunday to see the QE2 visit for the first and last time. It was supposed to arrive at 4:30 but was unable to enter port because of the high winds so we could only see it out to sea. We did see lots of people, lots of flags and a boat with lots of speakers on it. The QE2 did finally make it in to port when the wind dropped later on in the evening when we had all gone home.
