QotD: My First Flight

Do you remember your first flight? Where did you go? Why?

Yes, and it was not that many years ago*. It was on a trip to Dublin with friends when the weather was abysmal and we were suffering saver turbulence. This being my first flight I thought it was normal and was quite enjoying the roller-coaster like ride.
* This is not 100% true as I did fly as a baby, but do not remember that. I do remember flying off my bicycle when younger but I guess that does not count either.
