I am a bitter drinker myself and over the years have learned to appreciated real ail.

When in Newcastle there are many good drinking establishments with a good choice of compatible drinks in then Ouseburn Valley. If you are in Dublin then I recommend an evening in the Porterhouse and trying a brew of the Porterhouse Red.
