What's the most extreme weather you've been in? A memorable storm? Heat wave? Or something else?
I can think of two storms that I got very wet in. The first was when I was very young. We were blackberry picking a short distance from my home when the heavens opened in in a few minutes we were drowned. Strangely I passed this location last week and the blackberries have been replaced by housing.
The second time was on an HBA conference weekend in Scarbrough. I went Geocaching with some friends and just before we got back to the car the heavens opened and a swimming pool was dumped on my head. Paul's log of the event best summarised the visit.
