What about the "www" Nexus?

In Tyneside our Metro light rail system is operated by Nexus.

For years I have been annoyed at having to type the “www.” on the front of nexus.org.uk to get to the web site. This weekend I noticed this poster advertising the web site without the “www.” and I thought “rejoice for I will no longer need to remember the www”. Sadly today I needed to use the web site, typed in nexus.org.uk and, you guessed it, nothing.

I have emailed them and we shall see if anything happens.

Update: I have just had an email from Nexus thanking me for binging the issue to there attention, and that I was the first to do so. They will be reconfiguring the web site as soon as possible. Good stuff Nexus.
